E.A. – Mukamba.” “Note filing of teeth.” Portrait of two men possibly with the African Native Medical Corps (ANMC), the man on the left is from German East Africa [Tanzania] and on the right from British East Africa [Kenya/Uganda] and were stationed in Dar es Salaam with Lt. Irvine, RAMC. ❧ The image is from an album chronicling the war time experiences of Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974) in German East Africa and Portuguese East Africa with the Royal Army Medical Corps. During this time he would meet Dr John W Arthur which in turn would lead to his missionary work at Chogoria in Kenya.
