In the foreground two African men and one African woman dressed in white, possibly candidates for baptism (?) or newly baptised congregation members (?). Other people at the entrance to the building and at its windows. Cf. photo no. 456, album no. 19. -- Leonhard Blumer (1878-1938), from Kida in Estonia, served the Leipzig Mission as pastor and teacher in Arusha from 1907 to 1930 (apart from home leave in 1912-1913 and 1924-1926).
