"Den franske residentsbygning. (14 juillet 1896)" ("The French residence building. (July 14, 1896)"). There are French flags spread throughout the outside of the building, which really is a palace. There is also a canopy in the front of the palace. Further to the right is Antsahamanitra. The house "The French residence building" was built before the French invaded Madagascar. It was the French messenger's home. After the occupation the French General Governor lived here.
