Six children, two of whom are only partially visible behind the other four, pose for a picture on a dirt road. Three children hold buckets on their heads two hold metal containers on their heads and one boy holds a bucket in his arms. The back of the postcard is blank and contains a printed note from the publisher: "Cette carte est vendue par L'ENFANCE MISSIONNAIRE au profit d'enfants du tiers monde." ("This card is sold by the CHILDHOOD MISSION for the profit of children of the Third World.") Information is also given about the printer: "TERRES LOINTAINES - 15, villa Molitor - 75016 Paris."
