1937

"Das fertige Rasthaus in Inamwanga. Im Vordergrund die Wohnhütte Br. Hauffes." ("The finished resthouse in Inamwanga. In the foreground the dwelling of Brother Hauffe."). In the background: a rectangular building made of bricks with a tin roof. In front of it: two small thatched huts. One copy is missing. -- Cf. photo no. 10868. -- In 1936 the missionary Hauffe built this resthouse. Initially it was meant for longer visits of the Mbozi missionary, but at the same time it constituted the beginning of the new mission station Moravia. -- Werner Hauffe (1909-1982) was a carpenter and later a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine.
