"Br. Hauffes erstes Wohnhaus in Kakozi." ("Brother Hauffe's first dwelling in Kakozi."). A group of people is sitting on chairs and on the ground in front of the thatched hut. On the left: Hauffe wearing white clothes and a hat. They seem to be listening to a record player. They are surrounded by large trees. One copy is missing. -- Werner Hauffe (1909-1982) was a carpenter and later a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. From 1933 to 1939, he served in Rungwe, Utengule and Isoko. In Utengule, he was an assistant to Brother Gemuseus. In 1937 he married Irmgard Wolff.
