"Unser Kirchbau in Mamba." ("Our church construction site in Mamba."). The stone walls of the future church are already erected. Three African workers are standing on the right top of the building. Several beams for the roof are already installed, some lean against the wall. On the left three additional workers. The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910. -- The picture is faded in the middle.
