"Herstellung der Frauengürtel. Dr. med. O. Fischer" ("Production of women's belts. Dr. O. Fischer"). Under banana trees five seated African women with their four children, bast and tools prepare clothing: the woman on the left, while nursing her child, beats a piece of bast with a small hammer in order to render it soft.
