Given the accuracy of this date, the indication of the year 1923 in the caption of photo no. 149, album no. 18 is probably a mistake. -- Leonhard Blumer (1878-1938), from Kida in Estonia, served the Leipzig Mission as pastor and teacher in Arusha from 1907 to 1930 (apart from home leave in 1912-1913 and 1924-1926).
