A womens group with many women gathered outside. They are sitting on mats and doing different types of needlework. One woman is using a sewing machine. -- Standing to the right under the tree is Emma Andersen, a missionary in Madagascar from 1915-1920. She is the daughter to H.M.Andersen a Norwegian that came to Madagascar in 1872 by the ship "Agnes". -- Bertha Johanne, maiden name Nielssen, married Ole Jensenius 1867-1940, in Tamatave, Madagascar in 1894. He was a missionary in Madagascar from 1892-1918. Emma and her sister Agnes lived in Norway later on.Their youger sister Hansine married a greek man and stayed in Mdagascar all her life.
