"Kyimbila 1935. 1. Mai." ("Kyimbila in 1935. 1st of May."). Four children are playing with goats on a goat paddock. They are presumably Missionary Waldner's children. On the right a thatched building. In the background a haystack which is roofed. Three indigenous people (one woman, two boys) are watching them. Cf. photo no. 10370. -- Ernst Waldner (1898-?) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa. He married Julie Friederike Ebinger.
