"Elim: Eingang des Winkels, Überschrift: Laat alles eerlyk onder ons behandelt [behandeld] worden. (2 Cor. 8, 21)." ("Elim: Entrance of the shop, headline: Laat alles eerlyk onder ons behandeld worden. (2 Cor.8, 21)."). The picture shows an entrance door with a white frame, a small canopy above the entrance and stairs leading up to the door. Written in dark colored letters above the entrance on the white frame it says in Afrikaans: "Laat alles eerlyk onder uns behandeld worden. (2 Cor.8, 21.)." ("Let all of us be treated with honesty. (2 Cor.8, 21.))." On the stairs of the shop stands a young African man. Three young African girls sit on the stairs on the right side of the entrance. Written on the card board: "17.2.34. P. Theile." The word "Winkel" is a term taken from Afrikaans. The inscription is written in an old version of the Afrikaas language, not in modern Afrikaans.
