"L. Vigs Masinandraina". Lars Larsen Vig was a missionary in Madagascar from 1874-1902. He married Laura Margrethe, maiden name Walle, in Madagascar in 1876. Anna Margrethe Bjertnes, maiden name Vig, married Carl Fredrik Bjertnes in Antsirabe on December 23, 1897. Anna Margrethe, sitting to the right on the picture, is Lars and Laura Margrethe's daughter. Picture is signed F.Bj. as also some of the following pictures in the album. Stands for Fredrik Bjertnes.
