The new President of the Lutheran World Federation/LWF. At the General Assembly in Dar es Salaam on 13th - 26th June, 1977, Bishop Josiah Kibira of Tanzania was elected President of the Federation. This picture was taken immediately after the result of the ballot was known. (Used in: Dansk Missionsblad no. 8/1977).
