"Sorte faar" ("Black sheep"). Thorkild Rosaas is in the middle wearing a troical helmet with a mourning ribbon on. His daughter died on May 23, 1905. He was a missionary in Madagascar from 1869-1907. He married Juline Elisabeth 1841-1923, maiden name Thomassen, in Betafo, Madagascar on December 13, 1871. There daughter's name was Johanna Rosaas 1880-1905, a missionary in Madagascar from 1901-1905. See A03Ma-197. -- To the right: Christian Borchgrevink, a missionary in Madagascar from 1869-1912. He married Johanne Christiane 1836-1924, maiden name Wang, in Tamatave, Madagascar on September 4, 1870.
