A missionary father sits on the ground with four boys and shows them pictures from a printed magazine. Four other boys are also gathered around the missionary: two play a game on a rock, one looks through a book on his own, and another stands behind them holding a staff. The back of the postcard is blank and contains a printed title: "8. MADAGASCAR - Le Pere montre des images" ("The Father shows images"). The back also contains printed information about the mission agency: "Pour < < l'OEuvre des Pretres Malgaches> > - 79, Avenue de Breteuil, Paris XVe. Ch. post. 567-39 Paris".
