"Junge Kaffer-Frau/ Christenfrau und andere in Xentu mit Kind" ("Young Kaffir woman/ Christian woman and others in Xentu with child"). Two women, an elderly woman (left) and a younger woman (right), are wearing light-coloured blouses, dark skirts, headdresses and dark draperies are hanging around their shoulders. A child is standing at the very front, wearing a light-coloured dress and a headdress. Behind the child, another person is sitting in the meadow. The surrounding is marked by a hilly countryside. Samuel Baudert (1879-1956), born as son of the missionary Samuel Baudert in South Africa, was mission director of the Moravian Church from 1924 to 1927 and since 1929 their bishop.
