"Schw[ester] Elgeti (Fabian) und Schabergs am Kap der guten Hoffnung." ("S[ister] Elgeti (Fabian) and family Schaberg at the Cape of Good Hope."). Willibald Schaberg and his wife Elfriede are both wearing dark coats. Their young daughters are in front of them, both in short dresses. Sister Elgeti is on the left, wearing a lighter coat and a headscarf. In the background a mountain, on which there are several buildings, one resembling a lighthouse. On the left a sandy path leading up the mountain. Willibald Paul Schaberg (1900-?) worked as a missionary in South Africa West, mostly in Elim. He married Elfriede Henriette Johanna Nigrin (born 1898) in Herrnhut near Dresden, Germany, in 1929. It is not known when and where he stopped working and died. -- Sister Edith Eva Dorothea Elgeti, married name Fabian, was born in 1909. She married Rudolf Gustav Willi Fabian, who did missionary work in South Africa East and in East Africa. He died in 1968.
