Four children are shown in a painted scene. They walk past a thatch-roofed building bearing baskets on their heads and holding fruit and baskets in their hands. The back of the postcard has no handwriting. Printed in the margin of the correspondence section is "Madagascar The children of this isle are full of fun and delight in playing games and telling stories. They all have to do their bit to help at home. The boys drive the cattle and wash the clothes, the girls learn to cook and weave. They all go to school and are good at lessons. These Malagasy boys are taking their thankoffering to the Mission which has taught them all they know about Jesus and his love. S. P. C. K."
