Mission at the bottom - City Mission in Madagascar. Solar ovens are a new invention, which is to the benefit of the poor. Solar ovens can be used for baking and cooking. The oven is made from cardboard, foil and plastic bags. A pan of water is placed in a plastic bag with water. The plastic bag is placed on floor of the solar oven, the foil on the oven sides concentrating the heat of the sun heat and the water in the bag can cook the food in the pan Photo 1997
