Bjørg Marie Lundager, b. Fuglestrand, 1925, Norway. Nurse from the Nursing School at "Menighetssøsterhemmet", Oslo, 1947-50. Bible school, Oslo, 1952-53. Course at Selly Oak Colleges, Birmingham, 1953. Married to Karl Emil Lundager, 1953. Together with husband sent to Nigeria by Danish United Sudan Mission and Sudan United Mission, British Branch, 1949-71. Sent by DMS to Bukoba, Tanzania, 1971-93. Working areas: Women's ministry, evangelist at the government hospital and Christian teaching at government schools. From 1972 parish assistant at ELCT, member of the Parish Council and the District Church Council. (See also husband's portrait). In 1994, Bjørg and Karl Emil Lundager returned to Denmark for retirement – after 44 years of mission service to Africa, which they are telling about in a book, published in 2004 - "Afrikas veje - Guds veje: 44 år under tropesol".
