Rappoport" [1904] 3 vols., labeder on back History of Egypt, volume X[-XII] and "History of Egypt in the light of recent discovery, by L. W. King ... and H. R. Hall" [1906] lettered on back "vol. XIII". Translation of the author's "Histoire ancienne des peuples de l'Orient classique", [1] Les origines, Égypte et Chaldée. [2] Les premières mêlées des peuples. [3] Les empires. In this, the Grolier society's edition of McClure's translation [1. The dawn of civilization] forms v. 1-3 (they contain apparently the text of the 4th revised edition, 1901, but with many notes omitted or abridged); [2. The struggle of the nations] v. 4-6; [3. The passing of the empires] v. 7-9. Lettered: History of Egypt, vol. I-IX.
