This study assesses adult attitude towards the mass media in Nigeria. The study answers two questions: (i) What are adult sentiments about the mass media in Nigeria? and (ii) Are these sentiments varied by demographic variables such as location of residence, ethnicity and gender? The study analyzed data obtained from 367 adults, drawn from three ethnic groups in Plateau State, Nigeria. The findings show a generally favourable adult attitude towards the mass media.
