Five killed when Italian bomber

Five killed when Italian bomber explodes in mid air in Abyssinia . _x000D_ Five Italians were killed when a Savoia 81 bombing plane which had been taking part in a raid on Dessye , North Abyssinia , was destroyed in mid air by an explosion . The explosion was believed to have been caused by a bomb from another which crashed into a bomb which had just been released ._x000D_ This exclusive picture , which has just reached London , was obtained by a photographer who made a nightmare journey through a remote part of the Wollo district . For four hours he ploughed through mud in a lorry , and a further four hours he spent traversing mountains on a mule ._x000D_ Photo shows , the wreckage of the Italian bomberat the foot of the mountain . _x000D_ 4 April 1936
