This song is about the second Sudanese civil war that started in 1983 in Southern part of Sudan.The singer describes how the black people (Southerners) suffered at the hands of the 'Arabs' (Northerners). We were in trouble everywhere, he sings; the forests and rivers became filled with our bones. He asks God to bring a flood to wash away the suffering of black people.
