Although only heads and successors of the king are allowed to wear such ikuukmishyeeng openwork textiles, because of its typical border it was made for women (Mack et al, 2008:206-207). Dergelijke doeken worden door weduwen gedragen (zie foto in Spring, 1993:90). Hoewel alleen hoofden en opvolgers van de koning dergelijke ikuukmishyeeng openwerk textiel mogen dragen, is deze vanwege de typische border gemaakt voor vrouwen (Mack et al, 2008:206-207).
