At the CRARC, the Centre of Recovery of Amphibians and Reptiles of Masquefa, at the Anoia, and at the Centre of Reproduction of Turtles of the Albera of Garriguella, at the Tall Empordà, work at a project to return the pups of turtle born at captivity at the country of origin of his parents. Among the receiving centres there is one to thirty kilometres from Dakar in Senegal.
