The government of South Sudan has mobilised the army to try to recover the oil wells that have been held by a rebel militia for a week. The UN has warned of the serious humanitarian situation and is studying to send more blue helmets to it. The two conflicting parties have accepted foreign mediation but are quick to conquer territory and go to talks more strongly.
