The African leaders of the Great Lakes region meet this Saturday as an emergency to deal with the new outbreak of violence in the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the border with Rwanda. The President of this country, to which the UN points out as a support agent for Congolese rebels, is the only one in the region not attending the emergency summit.
