In this chapter we will meet Karen Mouyombon, a Cameroonian woman who has ridden her own business in the Hospitalet de Llobregat, an African European hairdresser, as she calls her, where she spends all day doing braids and putting extensions to the clientes. He came here with the excuse of expanding his knowledge of hairdressing, but deep down he wanted his daughters to know another culture. It has cost the ones integrate, but now, in spite of longing his country, do not think at returning. His beginnings here were not easy, but achieved to integrate thanks to a tool that many of his friends despised: the Catalan. We will hear her speak with her father in the Douala language, one of the two hundred and eighty languages spoken in Cameroon, with some 87.700 speakers.
