The Ministry of Health of Senegal has just confirmed the first Ebola case in this country. Scientists are fighting the virus on two fronts: they try to stop it and find it a cure, but also know how it has been transmitted to humans and how it has spread. And in this sense, it is already clear that the origin of the outbreak in Africa is animal, surely a bat. Now genetic studies explain the path and mutations made by the virus.
