Musicians from Mali take center stage

The four members of Songhoy Blues felt they had no choice but to leave their homes in 2012 when jihadists took control of northern Mali. In Bamako, in the country's south, they played music for other displaced people in the camps and performed in Bamako's bars. Today, they share their music with an international audience.
