Tens of thousands of illegal migrants live in Morocco where most of them wait in the wings, hoping to eventually make it to Europe. About a year ago, Morocco's king announced that illegal migrants are allowed to apply for residency. For those with residency permits, life in Morocco has somewhat improved.
