The manuscript was composed by Muhammad al-Ghali Ba. It contains two pamphlets. The first is about the life of Ahmad Ibn Ibādi popularly known as Ceerno Hammadi Mali Si. The author wrote the biography of Ibn Ibādi, a blind man from Senegal's Fūta region to show that there had been non-Arab knowledgable scholars in sub-Saharan Africa as well. According to the author, Ibn Ibādi was ccomparable to Dhaha Hussein, a blind well-known scholar from Eastern Arabia. The other pamphlet is an original hand written poem by Muhammad al-Ghali Ba entitled 'The Golden necklace'. It is a gift to the followers of Tijaniyya. Le manuscrit a été composé par Muhammad al-Ghali Ba. Il contient deux brochures. Le premier concerne la vie d'Ahmad Ibn Ibādi populairement connu sous le nom de Ceerno Hammadi Mali Si. L'auteur a écrit la biographie d'Ibn Ibādi, un aveugle de la région de Fūta au Sénégal, pour montrer qu'il y avait également des érudits non arabes bien informés en Afrique subsaharienne. Selon l'auteur, Ibn Ibādi était comparable à Dhaha Hussein, un savant aveugle bien connu d'Arabie orientale. L'autre brochure est un poème original écrit à la main par Muhammad al-Ghali Ba intitulé «Le collier d'or». C'est un cadeau aux adeptes de Tijaniyya. Extent: 1 manuscript containing two pamphlects. The first pamphlect on Ibn Ibādi is21 pages. The second pamphlect, a poem entitled 'The Golden Necklace' is 17 pages.
